Astaria is based off of a character from the game Baldur's Gate 3, with heavy changes to make her more original.

From the moment Astaria had been born, the dice hadn’t been rolled in her favor. Born in an elven village in Faerun, she had been born a twin - however at birth her sister had been stolen. A crazed woman had taken her twin, Raina and kept her as her own. No one knew what had happened to the lost twin, but that did not stop her mother and father from loving Asta as if nothing had happened. 

She was raised happily, could want for nothing and spent her days collecting herbs and flowers, practicing her medicinal skills and the small magic she had been blessed with. However, all of that would change. On her sixteenth birthday, Asta had been snatched off of the streets, kidnapped and taken to the city of Baldur’s Gate. 

Her kidnapper had been the Vampire Master, Cazador Szarr. A man of wealth and importance within the city, and the ruler of the vampires. Cazador had a front of being an important member of society, but one thing he craved more than anything was power. He turned Astaria into a vampire. Draining her blood, and life as she knew it. Memories of her previous life were gone, replaced by her new found Hell. This act had made her almost unrecognizable. Her skin had become sickly pale, her skin cold to the touch, her once long black hair had turned pure white. 

Astaria was one of seven other vampires that had been sired under Cazador, ordered to his servitude. They could not disobey him, or physical and mental abuse would become their punishment. His orders were like a siren song.  They were subject to vile conditions under him, most nights found in Cazador’s private quarters, laid across his lap as he carved his ‘poetry’ into their flesh, later to be discovered his poetry had been of the infernal tongue, marking a pact of sacrifice with Mephistopheles into her skin. The Rite of Profane Ascension.

Cazador had carved the rite into the seven of his vampiric spawn, marking them as sacrificial beings for his gain of power. Upon the destined day, Cazador had locked the thousands of vampires Astaria and her siblings had collected into massive cages in an underground facility that Cazador had built. Ordering Astaria and her siblings to stand on podiums, Cazador began the Rite of Profane Ascension - his goal to become the most powerful vampire in existence with the help of the Infernal. 

Before Cazador could finish his ritual, an unnamed person of great power stopped him. Astaria hadn’t seen or known who this person was, but they had left him half dead in the center of the ritual. This was the chance Astaria knew she needed to take to escape the grasp of her master. At the great sacrifice of thousands of innocent souls, and her siblings, Astaria in turn carved the Rite into Cazador's back, offering him in her place as she performed the Rite of Profane Ascension. 

She had been marked with Sin, killing thousands as blood coated the underground, and Astaria found herself with a new found power and strength that she hadn’t known what to do with. 

It was unbeknown to her that Infernal’s were known to be liars. Mephisto had other plans for the Ascended. He wanted to bring his daughter, Lilith back to life after her eons of slumber. Astaria had just become the perfect vessel as such. She was powerful, sin marked her soul as she had killed thousands in the name of power. 

One night, as Astaria had laid asleep. Mephisto visited her in her dreams, marking her as a vessel, and shifting her into something more, something Lilith could be placed into. He had fed her demonic blood, giving her the powers of a succubus. 

Astaria had quickly learned through some of her companions and lovers what Mephisto had planned for her. With new found powers, an insatiable lust for deviant desires, and being Lilith’s Vessel- Astaria must learn how to live with the new version of herself, and how to escape the claws of the Infernal.
