Bold Italic Emphasized Mary was once human long ago. She was a na�ve young woman who was in love with a married man. The man promised he would leave his wife for her in due time and kept stringing her along. One night the couple was caught by the man's wife. Worried about the social punishments and also being labeled a sinner he blamed Mary saying she was a witch and cast a spell on him. During this the town was already in the grasp of the hysteria of witches and paranormal. The town quickly turned on her and found her guilty. As they set her to burn on a pyre for her so called crimes she waited heart broken and full of anger. Her pleas were heard but by a Devil. They promised her they would help her take revenge on the man and the town and give her all the power she wanted if she just made her deal with them. In her broken state she agreed and the devil used their power to turn her into a demonic being filled with a rage unlike any other. She quickly broke free and used her new powers to not only kill the people of the town but also burn it to the ground. No records were saved so not many knew of this event save for a few. Over the years Mary took up blood magic falling into the crime she was falsely accused of. She took on the name Bloody Mary and used her powers to bring terror to the lands for her new master. The more she did for him and his desire to bring terror he would reward her with more power and even knowledge of sigils she would later use to cement her name in the books as a horror. She found out that she was not immortal but would be called back to hell if she died. So using a form of a blood spell she found a way to be able to be summoned like other demons but with little effort. Over the years she would spread this process as a game for kids to play to scare one another, rooting herself a get out of hell pass if she ever was there. Mary is neither Demon nor a mortal. She is a twisted creation of hate, evil, and sorrow. She over the years has mastered the art of blood magic and other magic. She has been able to use a realm known as the mirror Realm, a form of existence behind reflective surfaces, that she uses to move around space and time with little effort. Mary tends to be on the side of evil but at times she has been known to take up a fight to protect an innocent or two. Mary uses a child like mask of emotions and actions to hide her true dangerous side, a mistake many fall for. Mary has a strong hate towards men which stems from her past, it at times will cause her to lash out at random times at males or even just flat out kill them.
