Coachella 2025

Coachella 2025

Coachella was one of the biggest festivals in the world. Thousands of people gathered to listen, watch, and experience their favorite artists in a way they had never done before. To perform at Coachella was one thing, to headline was another. Headline one of the days of the festivals was setting your mark in the world, and truly starting down the path to stardom. It was a box to check on any artist’s bucket list.

It was one that, Cynthia Lacroix or better known as ‘Ella’, could now mark from her own list. She sat in her vanity chair, buzzing with nervousness and excitement as Jane D’amcio buzzed about the room. Cynthia couldn’t help but laugh as her oceanic blue eyes followed the pacing woman. “Are you sure you are not the one performing tonight?” Jane seemed more excited about Cynthia headline for Coachella Day 2, rather than she was. It was because of the nerves that had made their own deep within her stomach. The pressure that was built on her shoulders was a heavy burden, one that not many shared in Hade Entertainment. Hade made it very clear to Cynthia how important this was for not just her career, but his. All eyes were on her tonight.

“Come on, Cynthia. This is your big night, start acting like it, love.” Jane grinned as she sauntered over to her, and spun her chair around to face her. “Stop frowning. You are going to get creases.” She frowned herself before she grabbed some of her cosmetic brushes and started to retouch up Cynthia’s makeup. The clock was ticking, in a few moments Cynthia would take to the main stage. Almost as if on cue, Hade burst through the door of her dressing room. “There’s the lady of the hour!” He grinned, his arms opened wide as he took in the sight of the too. Jane rolled her eyes at him and went back to fixing Cynthia’s makeup. “It’s almost show time, baby. Are you ready?” Hade patted her on the cheek, forcing her to look at him. She gave him one of her most dazzling smiles. ‘’Je suis toujours prêt, connard.”

Hade only gave a laugh shaking his head before he walked over to one of her couches and sat down, opening his phone and texting people. Cynthia knew she shouldn’t have been so rude towards Hade. He had done a lot for her, especially during the harder times of her life, and he had made her one of Europe's favorite popstars. He now had a desire to make ‘Ella’ a global superstar, starting here at Coachella. Hade had explained to her that a number of Fantasy Records popstars weren’t active, and they didn’t have a mainstream artist at the moment, so it was the perfect time for her to come and take over. It would show off her singing, and give Hade Entertainment more American supporters, which in turn meant more money for Hade’s pockets.

One of those inactive was her ex, Charming. The last she had seen of him was on the news, after his abduction and the death of his friend. As much as she had wanted to reach out, her heart wouldn’t let her, nor would have Hade. It was better not to piss off her boss. That man's temper was as hot as he was. Cynthia slipped her earbuds in and pressed the play button on her phone, as an unnamed track started in her ears. It was like a routine at this point. She replayed the songs her and Char had made, a pre-show ritual. Their voices mixed in her ears soothing her nerves.

As soon as the song ended, a tap was on her shoulder. She slipped her earbuds out and looked over at Jane. “Showtime, darling.” She grinned and helped Cynthia out of her chair. Everyone was in a rush as they lead Cynthia through the maze of corridors and out to the stage. The crew finished the final touches, Jane messed over her hair and Hade was busy chatting and making sure everything was right. One of the stage hands gave Cynthia her ear mic and slipped it on. “Testing.” She spoke into the mic, making sure it was good. “Showtime!” Hade called and escorted her to the dark stage before he ran off. Cynthia stood in the center, taking deep breaths as she listened to the chatter of the thousand of fans chattering in the crowd.

The stage began to flash in blue lights, illuminating Cynthia for a second, and then another as the beat of her brand new song started. “Bonjour Coachella!” Her voice spoke out into the crowd over the beat. “I hope you are all ready for my treat! Let me introduce you to the release of my new song. “J'espère que tu l'aimeras autant que je t'aime!”

The moment her words were over, the stage illuminated. A massive blue heart poster bed stood center, with various platforms. Her dancers posed on each of the platforms, and Cynthia sat in the center looking out at the crowd.. Her petite frame glimmered in front of the heart headboard. A shimmery light blue bodysuit clung to her curves, diamonds sparkled in the light. Her blonde hair was in pin-up style waves along her face, showing just enough of her captivating eyes for anyone to get lost in them. She gave a smile as she started to sing.

‘Baby, can't you see I'm callin'?
A guy like you should wear a warnin'
It's dangerous, I'm fallin'
There's no escape, I can't wait
I need a hit, baby, give me it
You're dangerous, I'm lovin' it’

The crowd burst into screams as she sang. Thousands of eyes enraptured her as she sang. She was like a goddess in her own right, a temptress for them to all desire. She claimed the stage like no other as her and her dancers bodies hit the floor, starting their sexy floor routine.

Too high, can't come down
Losing my head, spinnin' 'round and 'round
Do you feel me now?
-

With a taste of your lips, I'm on a ride
You're toxic, I'm slippin' under
With a taste of a poison paradise
I'm addicted to you
Don't you know that you're toxic?
And I love what you do
Don't you know that you're toxic?

As the song went on, the crowd’s screams of applause and fans cheering for her consumed all others. This is what she lived for. The thrill, the adrenaline that ran through her body as she performed. She knew this night was a success, and it had just started.

A Cinderella Story.

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Cynthia. A young child with beautiful blonde hair and stunning blue eyes, and the light of her parents' lives. She was kind, caring, charismatic, and thoughtful. As a young French girl, Cynthia could want for nothing. Her father was a big-shot lawyer, working for various celebrities, and her mother was once a farm girl, now an up-and-coming socialite trophy wife for her husband. Her mother had a beautiful voice, one that the young Cynthia aspired to have. Cynthia’s mother made sure that she knew of the hardships others had faced and not to take what she had for granted. She did not, for soon her life would change drastically.

During her pre-teen years, Cynthia’s mother fell ill with cancer, and despite her father's efforts and unlimited resources, no treatment could save her, and her mother eventually died. The true light of the house was gone, leaving it in a disarray of darkness. Her father fell into drinking, often leaving for long periods, leaving Cynthia alone to fend for herself. She had learned to clean, cook, and tend to her house in those absences, all while juggling school and her love for singing. However, time quickly passed, and her father came home, this time not alone. His father had married another well-off socialite; this one, however, was stuck-up and rude, along with her twin daughters, who moved in as well. Cynthia was no longer the light of the house, and any remnants of her mother were gone, clouded by the new, hateful stepmother.

The new additions to her family quickly took over her home and her life. In front of her father and society, they were the perfect people. Cythia was a loving daughter who adored her new family, and vice versa, but behind closed doors, her new family bullied and hated her for the attention she still gained from her father. Suddenly, one day, her father had to go to help with a big celebrity case that went sideways and ended up with him being shot and killed. After her father’s funeral, more things changed. Her stepmother did not try to hide her disdain for Cynthia. She pulled Cynthia out of whatever spotlight her parents had her in, devoured her inheritance and college funds, and left her fending for herself. They forced Cynthia to become a housemaid, cleaning, cooking, and tending to them, while she juggled a full-time job to pay for her high school and supplies she would eventually need for college.

As soon as she reached the age of eighteen, she was kicked out of her home and left homeless for a few months until she was able to save enough to rent a small apartment in Paris. She ended up working in a cafe, making coffees, and on the side she would sing on the street, and post videos on the internet to gain some traction. She always just made enough to get by, and that was it. Her dream was the same as her mother's: to one day become a singer who touched the hearts of many.

Soon enough, Cynthia’s dreams would come true. She fell in love with a man named Char, and together they were slowly making both of their dreams come true. Cynthia sang, and Char produced the music. Together, they made their own songs, something for them to share. Eventually, Char had been discovered, and it seemed like things were only going up from there. Cynthia hoped for her own rise to stardom but supported her boyfriend the best she could until eventually he left her. Their last night together ended in a disaster on the dance floor with Cynthia’s heart shattered into a million pieces.

Almost a year after her heartbreak, Cynthia finally had her big break. She had created an EP called ‘Nonsense’ that had gone viral and broken the internet in a single night. Something had changed within her, and her voice finally became what she had wanted. A melody of beautiful tones and vocals. Many agencies had quickly sought her out, the most prolific of which was Hade Entertainment. She promptly signed under Hade Morningstar, and her path into the spotlight began, forming the iconic sensation known as ‘Ella’.

However, Cynthia’s story does not end here; soon, she would discover who she truly was… the one and only Cinderella of Arcadia.
